Madeleine St.Clair Handbags are designed with glamour, beauty and individualism in mind. Due to the eclectic mixes of fabrics and prints, each piece will vary slightly, which is what makes our bags so unique!
Madeleine St.Clair uses leather worked by a craftsman and finished by hand. This is the result of a careful selection, therefore, some defects like creases, shading and color irregularities should be considered natural features of the leather and they are designed to age over time.
All leathers should be kept away from grease products, water and other leather goods, as the color could “migrate”. The material may have been treated with a particular fixing agent that protects it and minimizes discolouration.
To ensure the longevity of your Madeleine St.Clair handbag, or to help you choose a new Madeleine St.Clair piece, please take some time to read our care instructions and recommendations.
Treat all leather with care. Leather is intended to age with wear. Our leather bags are treated before they become yours. If you are using a leather cleaner please Ensure that you test your leather cleaner first on a small patch of leather first and remember is make sure you NEVER condition metallic leathers!
Lighter colours mark more easily, these colours should be kept away from any products that could stain or tamper with the bag in any way. We recommend that you store your bag in a fabric bag. This is included with all our handbags.
Do not get leather or metal hardware wet, this will result in markings on brass plates or any of the bags' outer hard metal ware.
Take special care of our beaded and lace detailing; beading and trims are not covered under our warranty.
Thank you for being a valued customer of Madeleine St.Clair Ltd. To avoid disappointment please read terms and conditions policy we have outlined.
