Customer Account
1.1 You must create an Account before placing an Order for Goods through the Website.
1.2 You warrant that all information and data provided by you in the creation of your Account is accurate and up to date.
1.3 You must notify Madeleine St.Clair LTD immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your password or of any other security breach relating to your Account.

Pricing
2.1 Prices displayed on the Madeleine St.Clair website are subject to change without notice. Prices for items on an order are fixed once your Order has been accepted. Subsequent price changes either up or down will not be retroactively applied to accepted Orders.
2.2 All pricing displayed on the Website is for online purchases only and may not be matched at any physical Madeleine St.Clair retail location.
2.3 All pricing displayed in any or all physical Madeleine St.Clair retail locations may not be matched by the Website.
2.4 You agree to pay the delivery charges specified at the time you submit your Order.

Orders and Delivery
3.1 We will aim to dispatch the goods ordered by you as soon as possible after your order has been accepted by us to the postal address you have given in your order. However, we cannot guarantee an exact delivery date and your goods may take longer to be dispatched if the goods you have ordered are not in stock at the time of placing your order or they are to be dispatched to an address outside of the UK.
3.2 Postal charges payable for goods dispatched in the UK will be notified to you in the confirmatory email. Deliveries outside of the UK may be subject to import taxes and additional charges for which you are solely responsible. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount.
3.3 Title of the goods shall pass to you at the time payment for the goods is received by us in full. Risk in any product ordered will pass to you upon dispatch of your order.

Payment
4.1 You may provide your nominated credit card details during the purchase.
4.2 You authorize Spencer & Rutherford to debit such amount from your nominated credit card.
4.3 If your nominated credit card is declined by your financial institution, Madeleine St.Clair Ltd will not be able to guarantee the delivery of the Goods, and may contact you to make alternative payment and delivery arrangements.
4.4 Madeleine St.Clair Ltd may decide at any time not to accept payment from you by credit card for any reason. If we decline to accept payment, we will not process the Order and may not contact you to inform you that your Order will not be processed. We may process this Order or further Orders if you make a payment by another method that is acceptable to Madeleine St.Clair Ltd.

Delivery and risk of goods
5.1 Madeleine St.Clair Ltd will use its best endeavors to deliver the Goods to your nominated delivery address within the time period specified at the time of placing your Order, however Madeleine St.Clair Ltd will not be liable to you or anyone else for any losses suffered or incurred due to delay.
5.2 Subject to payment, property and risk in the Goods passes to you upon delivery of the Goods to your nominated delivery address.

Returns
6.1 Other than in accordance with clause 6, Madeleine St.Clair Ltd will only accept the return of Goods that have been supplied incorrectly, or vary from their description on the Madeleine St.Clair website

Returns/Exchange Policy
Madeleine St.Clair Ltd offer return for exchange on items purchased on the Madeleine St.Clair Ltd E-boutique. If you receive an item that you would like exchanged please contact us at info@madeleinestclair.com within 14 days of receiving your item, providing the following information:
1.Order Confirmation Number
2.Bag purchased
3.Date of delivery
4.Why you would like to exchange your bag
We will then provide you with information to ensure that your exchange is handled promptly and with care! Any claims that come that come after 10 days of delivery will not be accepted Please note that we do NOT offer refunds for change of mind, but we will happily exchange.
If you are returning any goods please understand that this is at the purchaser’s expense to return the goods to Madeleine St.Clair, these should be returned in the original condition in which they arrived, ensuring that all tags remain and bag has not been used. Madeleine St.Clair Ltd reserve the right to decline any returns if they do not meet the above standards.
Your new item will be couriered to you at the expense of Madeleine St.Clair Ltd within an efficient time frame. Please note that our sale items once purchased cannot be returned due to a change of mind, however they are covered by a six month warranty.It is a condition of sale that any purchased item may not be offered for resale without prior written approval from Madeleine St.Clair Ltd

Termination
7.1 If any of these Terms and Conditions should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by reason of the laws of any state or country in which these Terms and Conditions are intended to be effective, then to the extent and within the jurisdiction which that Term or Condition is illegal, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be severed and deleted from that clause and the remaining Terms and Conditions shall survive, remain in full force and effect and continue to be binding and enforceable.
7.2 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
7.3 Madeleine St.Clair Ltd shall have no liability to you for any delay in the delivery of products ordered or any other matters to the extent that the delay is due to any event outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, flood, fire, labour disputes, strikes, lock-outs, riots, civil commotion, malicious damage, explosion, governmental actions and any other similar events

By accepting these terms and conditions you consent to such checks being made. In performing these checks personal information provided by you may be disclosed to a registered Credit Reference Agency which may keep a record of that information. You can rest assured that this is done only to confirm your identity, that a credit check is not performed and that your credit rating will be unaffected. Returns and Exchange policy
Thank you for being a valuable customer Madeleine St.Clair Ltd. Due to some confusion and at times undue customer disappointment we have outlined below our warranty claims and procedures.


Warranty Claims and General Repairs
Madeleine St.Clair Ltd manufacture handbags to the highest standard using quality leathers, fabrics, woven and manufactured textiles.
Our high standards of manufacturing and quality control enable Madeleine St.Clair Ltd to provide a warranty covering the guarantee of our craftsmanship for a period of six months from the date of retail purchase on all Madeleine St.Clair Ltd products.
Due to the delicate nature of some materials used in our products our warranty DOES NOT INCLUDE any trims used such as feathers, beads and lace. General wear and tear or any damage resulting from carelessness after purchase is not covered.
All products returned as a warranty claim must be accompanied by an original proof of purchase (receipt). If a receipt is not provided at the time of repair you will be responsible for a charge for your repair.
If you require repairs to a Madeleine St.Clair item that has exceeded its warranty period, has trim problems or is affected by wear and tear, please feel free to contact info@madeleinestclair.com if you have any questions on our warranty policy.
All repairs that do not fall under warranty will be charged, customers will be advised of repair costs for approval before the repair is completed.

Warranty and repairs procedure:
1. Email info@madeleinestclair.com for a Repairs Authorisation Number
2. Your product return MUST include
a. Your Repairs Authorisation Number
b. A copy of your proof of purchase with your Order number
c. A brief description identifying the specific problem and style of product
3. If your purchase is not covered under warranty, it will be sent to our repairs department for a quote. 
You will be contacted in due course to approve the cost of repairs.
Most repairs take four weeks to complete (not including delivery time), this can be confirmed when you are provided with a repairs authorisation number or at the time you approve the repairs.

You will receive an email outlining the correct delivery address for the package; please note that goods will be returned at the purchaser's expense and the delivery address will be at the discretion of Madeleine St.Clair Ltd.
